Designed for beginners and emerging filmmakers and provides an opportunity to get the basic skills and foundation to launch your career in underwater filmmaking. What makes underwater filmmaking challenging?  How do you connect and move an audience to care about the ocean?  Cinematographer Richard Theiss will take you through many of the need-to-know technical aspects of underwater video, plus share important information on how to build a dramatic story and both entertain and educate your audience.  You will learn about camera tips that the pros use, along with important cinematic storytelling elements like script or message development, continuity, time compression, and more.
