Alison Barrat is the Director of Communications for the Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation. Alison heads up filmmaking, press, live-events and outreach for the Foundation. She has over fifteen years’ experience as a natural history film producer and her work has been shown on Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, PBS and National Geographic Channel. Before joining the Living Oceans Foundation, Alison created Discovery Communications first iPad app exploring the natural history of sharks. Alison previously spent five years at Nat Geo Television where she worked as the Director of Development for the Natural History Unit and Series Producer for both Nat Geo Channel and PBS.
